Number one priority for Help4LiPs (H4L) is to function as a bridge between the litigants in person - community and the Judiciary. H4L attended a meeting with the Civil Justice Council (CJC) on 25th of February, the day the CJC had published a paper on Reforming the courts’ approach to McKenzie Friends. Please find the consultation paper here.

The same day saw Sabine McNeill of Victims Unite and Belinda McKenzie's win a court case concerning McKenzie friends.

H4L introduced the CJC publication to them. The paper was presented on the Victims Unite website and started a public conversation.

H4L continues to work on bringing the legal profession and the LiP-community together to cooperate in building a transparently just legal system.
